## What the Executive resolved

[Resolution MIPRE-2026-0010986](https://www.gacetaoficial.gob.pa/storage/gacetas/2026/03/30490_B/101721.pdf), published on March 25, 2026 in Official Gazette 30490-B, suspended implementation planned for April 1, 2026 until the necessary technical, regulatory and market conditions exist.

The same resolution voided Resolution MIPRE-2024-0010789, which contained the previous schedule, and stated that the National Energy Secretariat must set a new schedule and its conditions through a reasoned resolution.
