Dispenser calibration

If your construction company or business has its own tank and dispenser — a yard pump or industrial fuel station — the amount it dispenses must be calibrated. We measure it with a certified prover and hand you the calibration record that backs the measurement before ACODECO.
What it is
A yard pump (or industrial fuel station) is the on-site tank — typically around 5,000 gallons — with its dispenser that a construction company or business uses to fuel its equipment and fleet. Over time, a dispenser can start delivering too much or too little.
Calibration verifies and adjusts the actual amount the dispenser delivers, using a certified prover — a volumetric measurement standard (seraphin measure) — and everything is documented in acalibration record.
Applicable standards
In Panama, the legal metrology of fuel dispensing — a fair measurement for both buyer and seller — falls to ACODECO(the Authority for Consumer Protection and Competition Defense). Calibration with a certified prover and its record are the proof that your dispenser deliverswithin the tolerance ACODECO requires.
Process
- 01Assessment of the dispenser and the dispensing point.
- 02Measurement with a certified prover (volumetric standard).
- 03Adjustment of the dispenser if delivery is out of tolerance.
- 04Issuance of the calibration record for your backing before ACODECO.
