Glossary

Tightness: The condition of a tank or line with respect to product entering or leaving it. A test evaluates a defined scope under the method conditions and documents the result.
MESA 2D: A nonvolumetric tightness-testing method for underground tanks. It applies a vacuum and analyzes acoustic signals; a separate sensor checks for water ingress.
